Catriona Gray to Pinoy History blog, in her comment, is quick to call the page out fake news peddler after the latter posted allegedly false information in a cutline.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray promptly called out the Pinoy History blog as a “fake news peddler” after it posted on Feb. 16, 2023, a cutline bearing an allegedly false context on Gray’s inclusion in a GMA film and her marital status.
“Grabe naman this page, lagging fake news peddler. Wala akong part ng movie na to. Name ko po, Catriona Gray — hindi pa ako married. Kaloka.”
[This page is excessive, always disseminating fake news. I don’t have a part in this movie. My name is Catriona Gray — I’m not married yet. Ridiculous.]

Gray posted a comment on Pinoy History Facebook page a day after the latter erroneously wrote such cutline that reads, “Catriona Elisa M. Gray-Milby will be shooting a movie as Josephine Bracken, with Dingdong Dantes as Jose Rizal, this is GMA Films’ official entry for the MMFF 2023. The title of the movie is ‘What if Jose Rizal didn’t die?’
The Philippine Pundit has tried to reach out to the page via Messenger. The page has no comment yet.
Gray’s comment reached 2,000 reactions already from most likely 1.2 million followers the page had, as of posting. It has also a YouTube channel with over 2,200 subscribers, so far.
Pinoy History started its presence on Facebook on Sep. 9, 2014.
