It will give chance to celebrate the Chinese New Year 2024, which falls on Saturday, February 10, 2024, taking advantage of a “longer weekend,” the Proclamation 453 stated further.
Meanwhile, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is directed to issue a circular for the guidelines of the implementation in the private sectors.
Previously, on Dec. 12, 2023, a guideline on pay rules was issued through Labor Advisory 27 for compliance of employers and workers on the proper payment of wages.
