TAGUIG CITY — Tanging Yaman Foundation, Inc., thru Sto. Niño de Taguig Parish headed by Rev. Fr. John Albert Absalon, distributed 300 noche buena packs to families in Central Signal Village, Taguig, Saturday morning, Dec. 11, 2021.
The Noche Buena package-giving drive is part of the Tanging Yaman’s objective to observe the World Day of the Poor and to give our indigent families an early Christmas package.
Tanging Yaman had distributed 4-million worth of Christmas packages to 10,000 families in 100 sites nationwide. With support from the BDO Foundation, Tanging Yaman, also, had able to give out 2-million worth of Christmas Noche Buena packs to 6,000 families in 20 parishes in Metro Manila.
Tanging Yaman Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit Philippine organization registered in 1996. The foundation covers a gamut of areas of concern from children’s basic needs to education and formation, environment and livelihood, and from relief and rehabilitation to care for the elderly and infirm. It also envisions itself expanding its network of donors and beneficiaries in the country and setting up networks of donors globally. RQJ
Regel Javines, author of The Philippine Pundit, is a former editor-in-chief of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) – Taguig Campus official student publication, The Chronicler.
