Regel Javines is a Filipino writer, editor, and independent citizen journalist. He founded the  Philippine Pundit to give voice to the unheard, blending grassroots truth-telling with political and philosophical insight. He previously contributed to some global citizen journalism platforms, such as Allvoices and Yahoo! Contributor Network, and briefly worked as a research analyst for the Philippine Air Force’s intelligence unit.
