The pride of General Santos, Lyka Estrella came as the year 6 Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) champion during the TNT grand finals held today, May 6, 2023, and aired live over the Showtime Online U.
The year 6 Tawag ng Tanghalan champion Lyka Estrella, the pride of General Santos City, billed her ticket as the last grand finals contestant to join the early finalists on Friday, May 5th. During the final day of the semifinals, With her “Patuloy ang Pangarap” rendition, Lyka earned 99.2% besting four other contestants to complete the list of finalists from Tanza, Cavite, Jezza Quiogue; from Pangasinan, Marko Rudio; Nowi Alpuerto of Bulacan, and from Quezon Province, Villier Villalobo.
The first round of the grand finals showcased the collaboration of the finalists with their hurados. As early as this round, Marko Rudio and Villier Villalobo finally ended their stints in the TNT grand finals.
Meanwhile, the second round is a medley performance of the finalists that appears like a mini-concert of each of the three remaining hopefuls singing three songs. Lyka was impressively acclaimed as TNT judges gave her a standing ovation.
Lyka, the grand champion of this year 6 TNT, will bring home one million pesos, a house and lot from Camella, a recording contract under Star Music, a management contract under Polaris of Star Magic, and a Toym Imao trophy.
